About the Chisholm Real Estate Team

Direct Realty Ltd. was founded fifty years ago by Omar, Patricia, and John Chisholm. Three family members opened the doors of a Belleville brokerage that has stayed independent and family-operated ever since. Omar worked as a Broker through the brokerage until the 1990s, when John took over as Broker of Record. John still holds that role today. Jeff grew up around the office. He got his license in 2000, twenty-five years and counting, and has been doing the work from the same brokerage ever since.

Jeff also developed REintel, the real estate technology platform the team uses every day. It runs on live data from sixty plus MLS boards, tracks two hundred thousand home price index records updated monthly, and refreshes every Bay of Quinte listing every thirty minutes. Most national platforms don’t go this deep in Canadian markets, and the ones that do don’t make it available to a local team. Most teams buy their tools. We built ours because the off-the-shelf options weren’t doing the work right.

The Chisholm name has been on Bay of Quinte real estate signs for fifty years. The work has to be right because the name doesn’t change.
