Prince Edward County

Prince Edward County is its own world, a peninsula hanging off the north shore of Lake Ontario that runs on a slower clock than anywhere else in the region. It is wineries and farm stands, the dunes and beaches at Sandbanks, working farmland, and some of the most sought-after waterfront in Ontario. Picton, Wellington, Bloomfield, and the villages. Most of the County’s life runs through a few towns. Bloomfield is the small village in the middle, known for its galleries and its easy reach to the wineries and Sandbanks. Out at the edges sit Waupoos, Milford, Cherry Valley, and the ferry at Glenora.
